Property Description: DEER, TURKEY LEASE and all other legal game! This tract is located in eastern Pike County, Alabama and Buckhorn Creek runs along the east boundary. It is also near the Pea River, the boundary between Pike and Barbour Counties. Big bucks roam on this property and the turkey hunting should be excellent. Look at the aerial photos. This tract offers it all from hardwood bottoms, approximately 1.5 miles of electric transmission line right-of-way to large open row crop fields. The farmer usually plants wheat, oats or rye in the fall on much of the crop land. This lease also includes the use of a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with central heat and A/C. The house includes all major appliances, including a clothes washer and dryer along with some furniture. You will also be allowed to use the metal building with a covered porch in the back yard. You will be responsible for the utilities and required to change the utilities (electricity, Pike County water and propane gas) into your name. Maximum number of hunters allowed on this lease at any one time: Up to eight (8), including any guest hunter(s), and a lessee must be present with guest hunter(s).***Respect and care for this property is required...No littering...ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THIS LEASE...No hunting with dogs...Respect for neighbors and property boundaries (no trespassing) is required...ATV's are allowed for hunting related purposes only...No trail riding for safety reasons...***DO NOT DRIVE ACROSS THE OPEN ROW CROP FIELDS...HUNTERS ARE REQUIRED TO DRIVE AROUND THE EDGES OF THESE FIELDS TO AVOID DAMAGING THE CROPS AND COMPACTIING THE SOIL...THE OWNER HAS CATTLE ON PART OF THIS PROPERTY...RESPECT AND CARE FOR THE CATTLE IS REQUIRED...LEAVE GATES AS FOUND***The owner does not plan to conduct any major timber related activities during hunting season and will usually be able to handle these either before or after hunting season. But, there could be situations where site preparation, tree planting, control burning, application of herbicides, and/or harvesting would need to be completed during hunting season.
