Property Description: HERE IS A TURN-KEY TROPHY DEER HUNTING OPPORTUNITY! The property is located in the rolling hills of Western Minnesota near the south fork of the Yellow Medicine River. Non-resident deer tags are over the counter in Minnesota! The trail camera footage and the harvest picture are from the 2007 season. The property owner stated that in 2007 a 148 inch buck (pictured) and a 127 inch buck were harvested. The property was not hunted in 2006 and a 144 inch buck was harvested in 2005. This tract has been carefully managed for trophy deer, complete with insulated shooting houses and food plots. It is converted farmland that has been in the enhanced CRP program for 22 years which includes an old grove of trees. Even the row crops that are on this property are designed to support a health deer herd. 10 crop acres total that are divided into 7 acres corn, 1 acre beans, 1 acre clover, 1/2 acre buck oats and 1/2 acre Biologic. Tract has 108 acres of timber and two acres of wetland, the rest is CRP grasses. There are 4 insulated and carpeted shooting houses and 1 insulated shooting box strategically placed. There is also a 1500 acre tract of WPA land (public) and a 250 acre lake slough across the road for waterfowl and pheasant hunting. Property owner states that there is a variety of game on the farm, but suggests hunting be limited to deer and turkey so the deer remain on the property. This property is intensively managed for trophy bucks, so the landowner asks that there be no more than 3 hunters and that hunters avoid shooting anything less that a 3 1/2 year old bucks.
