Property Description: FIRST CLASS DEER AND TURKEY LEASE just out of Star Prairie Wisconsin! This tract is about a 50/50 split of timber and grass lands, with Apple River frontage! It is located in Southern Polk County and on the wonderful Apple River. Conveniently located about 45 miles from Twin Cities or 70 miles from Eau Claire.

This tract is full of wildlife, I came across a group of 8 turkeys and saw or heard 5 deer bust out as I was walking this piece of property. I have picture of a young doe that came all the way across a field to within 5 yard of me before she winded me and ran off (see pictures). The tree cover forms natural funnels and travel routes for the deer. There were numerous heavily used trails and rubs both new and some used for several years. Also a spot where the deer are crossing the river that I tried to catch the fresh tracks in the mud.

This tract also has beautiful frontage on the Apple river for fishing or waterfowl hunting.

This tract can be combined with WINO 0001 for more space and save money on insurance. They are about a five mile drive from each other, because you have to cross the river.
