Wabasha County is right across the Mississippi River from the famed Buffalo County Wisconsin and in heart of the bluff country of South Eastern Minnesota. This area is home to some excellent trophy deer and great turkey hunting. Also, possibility for pheasants and goose hunting after crops are out. As you can see from the picture this tract feature rolling terrain and has good access. This tract has about 67 acres of timber, with the remainder crop fields and CRP. This hunting land is located about 100 miles from Minneapolis and St Paul, or about 35 miles from Rochester, Minnesota. This tract can be combined with MNSO 0011 - 0017 tracts to save on insurance. You may be able to make arrangements with the landowner to rent a house on neighboring tract, but those terms are outside of this lease. Whitetail tags for non-residents in Minnesota are over the counter and fairly reasonably priced. Turkey tags are by lottery. There is a campsite on this tract, which has access from logging trail. This lease allows a maximum of 4 hunters. The landowner asks that sportsmen respect their crops and only trim branches for shooting lanes, no marketable timber to be cut.
