Wabasha County is right across the Mississippi River from the famed Buffalo County Wisconsin and in heart of the bluff country of South Eastern Minnesota. This area is home to some excellent trophy deer and great turkey hunting. As you can see from the picture this tract feature rolling terrain and has good access. It has about 47 acres of timber, boarderd by alfalfa and row crops. It also has a trout stream and pond in the South Eastern corner. This hunting land is located about 100 miles from Minneapolis and St Paul, or about 35 miles from Rochester, Minnesota. This tract can be combined with MNSO 0011 - 0017 tracts to save on insurance. You may be able to make arrangements with the landowner to rent a house on this tract, but those terms are outside of this lease. Whitetail tags for non-residents in Minnesota are over the counter and fairly reasonably priced. Turkey tags are by lottery. This lease allows a maximum of 4 hunters. The landowner asks that sportsmen respect their crops and only trim branches for shooting lanes, no marketable timber to be cut. Vehicles and ATVs must stay off fields; also ATV use is restricted to hunting activities only. Outfitters must provide their own insurance. $1MM of liability insurance included in the lease amount.
