This listing offers two tracts that are adversely different. The west tract does not look like much from the aerial; however the landowner said this is where he sees all the deer and the tenant farmer reports lots of crop damage. They have counted over 30 deer in the field at one time. The field is planted in corn this year and the deer poor in from the neighboring timbered hillsides down into this bottom field along Laughery Creek to feed.
The east tract is mostly timbered with some grassy hillsides. This tract is loaded with deer and turkey sign. If you look at the 3D-Aerial, you can see that this property is the end of a large wooded draw. The deer move from the large timber into the crop fields on the other side of the highway at night to feed. Several good stand locations to catch these deer when they are traveling. The landowner is also receptive to the planting of food plots in the open areas on this tract.
